The BERNINA stitch regulator is a true world first. The presser
foot with the three different soles guarantees a more even stitch
length with variable sewing speeds, making free-hand quilting
fantastically simple.
With the artista 730, the thread end is automatically
cut off after you finish embroidering a colour in a design. Needle
and
bobbin thread can also be cut simultaneously at the press of a
button in the sewing, darning and quilting modes.
A real BERNINA highlight: The knee-operated
lifter lets you raise the presser foot and lower the feed dogs
at the same time, leaving your hands free to guide the fabric.

The speed-adjustable winding device helps you save time: with the
artista you can wind on bobbins as you sew, embroider or quilt,
